IDEALS

The welknown epics Ramayana and Mahabharata has innumerable characters but now in this generation if i try to see all look very inappropriate.i was thinking we praised Lord Rama for his truthfulness and devotion to his wife.we admired Him for sending his wife away when she was carrying lava and kusha because of one washermans comments.can you think doing so now.people are ready to pull you down all the time for their own selfish motive.accusing people and getting away with their drawbacks is the trend.they call this frankness.without realising they are hurting people.but who has time to think. we are all worried about I. Sita didnt have any choice when she was sent.she is not given as big status as that of Rama.This is how we find when the leaders frame the rules the people suffer but the rules does not affect the law maker.we preach truthulnes but can we take it. we like to tell the truth but can we take if someone tells us the truth?in day today life we dont require any Dronacharya to teach any particular art . today life has become so complicated and full of diplomatic people that one has to be ready to face the war with differrent strategies.because after all it is survival of the fittest.

what an impact?

have a nice day with a big broad smile is fresh in my memory as if it was said yesterday. 13yrs back when i had visited this country i had carried this smile with me and believe me they have not changed. so many things around us keep changing but these ringing words are doing a great service to humanity. todays life which is full of tensions due to various reasons.smile is becoming so scarce and precious that we have to join a laughing club to get that smile (what a pity) there is really a mile between smile.but these people whom we meet in the mall,on the road keep reminding us smile is with us only and it is in our hands how we spend the day. i am sure everybody must be thinking why not. let me really have a nice day.if u look around and u will find so many beautiful things which the nature has given us but we are not appreciative because we are immersed in our own thoughts and problems. we should try to come out of it for a moment and appreciate with a smile and i am sure our day will be made. always remember the glass is half filled.dont see the empty side.

who cares?

After a very good encouragement from my daughter and son in law for this platform I started thinking about the next step. Since I had decided to express my thoughts I was thinking are most of the people surrounding us happy? Though it is not my business with their "I don't care" attitude I was forced to analyse on this.

During our childhood even a neighbour used to advise us on most of the issues thinking that it concerns them also. We also were tuned to their attitude without even thinking how does it bother them. And believe me it helped us in grooming. (Of course we had that much of common sense to differentiate a true adviser from a untrue one.) Now people are more concentrating in accumulating wealth rather than relations. In this hi-tech world nobody is bothered about the feelings and the relations to be maintained. Everyone is so busy.

But the question comes to my mind is for happiness what u require is understanding. But that has become scarce. There are scores of couples who don't have time for their life partners and children. After earning billions you may be wanting more. Satisfaction is a mental state which will give u the signal to the door of happiness. I am expressing my thoughts because I want to express. You guessed it: nobody has time for listening to my nonsense since they already know. Anyhow both the parties are happy. I am thinking I expressed my thoughts and the other party you guessed... who cares.

First day of blog

For a novice like me this will be a good platform, where I will be able to express my thoughts and share it with everyone. So, I expect a feedback from whoever comes across my thoughts.
